SLOWWALK FOOTWEAR CARE - BASIC TIPS

Slowwalk shoe care is very simple if you know how to do it. The care and cleaning of the shoes often reflects the personality of the wearer. This is why we give you some tips and tricks so that you can wear your Slowwalk shoes always shiny and perfect for every occasion.

The 2 basic rules of care for any type of footwear are the following:

  • Always clean your shoes: If you pamper your shoes daily and clean them every time you put them on or very regularly, you will prevent certain stains or scratches from becoming embedded and difficult to clean. With a regular maintenance, you can keep your shoes in an optimal state and extend their usable life.
  • Always store them: Just as we store our clothes, it is also important that we store our shoes to reduce wear and tear. Dust that can become encrusted, the wear of keeping them exposed to sunlight, humidity, rubbing against other objects or any environmental factor can take a toll on any type of footwear over time. If you store your shoes in the correct way, you will prolong the life of your shoes and you will keep them in perfect condition throughout the time of use.

Based on the two previous standards, each material has its own tricks to keep them in perfect condition. Below, we will explain how to clean our materials so that you look and enjoy your Slowwalk models always in the best conditions.

Don't know how to remove that smell that accumulates in your shoes as the days go by? The solution is very easy! We are going to explain to you how to eliminate these annoying odors in a simple way. For its elimination we will need to have sodium bicarbonate, since it’s a natural antibacterial.

  • Place the sodium bicarbonate inside your shoes and shake them around so that it’s distributed as evenly as possible in all the corners of your shoe.
  • Go to sleep and let the sodium bicarbonate do its job throughout the night.
